Day trips can be enjoyed to the beautiful Ile d'Yeu, where bikes can be hired to explore the forests, sandy beaches and moorland, or to the island of Noirmoutier. Nearby is the bustling resort of Les Sables d'Olonne, famous for its spa baths and offering visits to the salt marshes to see salt production.
